Announces New Climate Regulated Cargo Trailer
Portland, Oregon (8/6/09) - Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company, the leader in
military trailers, has announced its latest product—the Climate Regulated Cargo
Trailer, or CRCT.
Developed jointly with Amtech LLC, the CRCT is easily towed behind an
HMWWV, or any light tactical vehicle, and features 118 cubic feet of insulated
interior space, a durable stainless steel floor, available custom racking, and a
maximum payload capacity of 1,500 lbs.
The CRCT uses a highly reliable Thermo King refrigeration system, already
extensively used by the government and provisioned world-wide, with several
available options for electrical current consumption. The CRCT has 6'' of foam
insulation for excellent efficiency, and with the use of an optional bulkhead
wall, thermostatically controlled fans can create both frozen and refrigerated
holding areas with temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit.
The "air transportable" CRCT rides on a version of the rugged, proven Silver
Eagle Manufacturing Company LTT-HC Heavy-Chassis off-road trailer platform
with riveted aircraft-grade aluminum construction and a durable independent
torselastic shock-mounted suspension system.
The CRCT has four insulated doors attached with extra heavy-duty ¼'' hinges
with aluminum backing for easy access and outstanding durability. Other
amenities include an exterior-mounted thermostat display, a heavy-duty
fiberglass body, and an integrated aluminum superstructure.
The CRCT is built to the highest quality standards, and will provide exemplary
service in severe-duty environments. Plus, it has the lowest maintenance costs
in the industry.
